Rema shared that her
connection with The Ben is the main reason for her performance in Rwanda. She
expressed her excitement to perform alongside him, describing their
collaboration as always enjoyable. Rema also addressed the frequent mix-up with
the Nigerian artist Rema, noting that name similarities are common and
shouldn't be a big deal.
On balancing her music
career with family life, Rema described it as a rewarding experience, albeit challenging
at times. She hinted that if her schedule permits, she might also attend
Sheebah Karungi's concert on August 17 in Camp Kigali, showing solidarity with
her fellow female artist.
Rema, who shares a child
with fellow Ugandan artist Eddy Kenzo, chose not to comment on their
co-parenting situation or his career. Instead, she focused on praising The Ben,
calling him a remarkable and genuine friend who always wishes the best for
others.
