Yampano, a rising star in Rwanda’s music industry, created a stir online by sharing photos of his partner on Instagram on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Fans, who had been curious for a long time, were excited to see the couple’s love-filled moments captured in these images.
In the heartfelt caption accompanying the photos, Yampano wrote: "Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite. I love you more than words can express."
The artist recently disclosed to The Choice Live that he and his partner are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child in the near future.
Previously, Yampano revealed in several interviews that he’s been living with his partner for some time. He shared plans to organize a wedding ceremony soon, bringing together family and friends to celebrate their union.
Yampano has reiterated his commitment to these plans in multiple interviews, including with platforms like MIE and InyaRwanda, making it clear that his intentions are genuine.
He stated that being with his partner enriches his life both personally and professionally. The decision to settle down, he explained, came after struggling with loneliness and wanting to build a stronger emotional foundation.
During one interview, Yampano remarked, "As time goes on, you’ll see it. It’s hard to keep saying I’m just a young boy while I’m preparing for fatherhood. I’m happy about growing, becoming a dad, and expanding my horizons."
Responding to criticism about marrying young, the artist explained that his choice was deliberate, emphasizing the importance of raising children while still in his youth. He wants to be an active, energetic father to his future kids.
He added, "As I grow older, this idea gains even more importance for me. I love children deeply, but if I wait too long, I may miss out. Imagine having a child at 40—by the time they’re 10, I’d be 50. At that point, I’d be too old to keep up with their youthful phase, and they might seek their influences elsewhere, possibly even negative ones."
When asked if he was serious about his commitments, Yampano firmly stated, "I never lie."
Although the wedding date hasn’t been set, Yampano has hinted it could happen as early as next year. However, he emphasizes the importance of completing pre-wedding formalities, such as local registration and customary traditions, beforehand.
Regarding the potential public pressure on his partner after marriage, Yampano assured that he wouldn’t force her into engaging with social media. Instead, he respects her current privacy, leaving those decisions entirely up to her.
