Ugandan artist Weasel touched down in Kigali on Saturday morning after initially planning to fly alongside music icon Jose Chameleone. However, a missed flight left him traveling solo, while his wife and children arrived separately.
Speaking after his arrival, Weasel revealed that his trip was primarily to support his brother’s performance. In addition, he highlighted plans to visit his in-laws, expressing excitement about connecting with them and engaging in conversations during his stay.
Addressing questions about his wedding plans with fiancée Teta Sandra, Weasel clarified that they have not yet held an official wedding ceremony. However, he assured fans that he would announce the wedding date at the appropriate time. The couple, who already live together and share children, have continued to enjoy life as a family.
The last time Weasel visited Rwanda was during a performance with his former colleague, the late Radio. Upon arriving at Kigali International Airport on this occasion, he was warmly received by Teta Sandra, who had arrived in the country a day earlier in anticipation of his visit.
Although the flight mishap delayed their plans, Weasel expressed determination to catch up by visiting his wife’s parents and strengthening family ties during his time in Kigali.
