Speaking to InyaRwanda, Vex Prince revealed that he decided to release a visualizer for the song after fans repeatedly asked for visuals due to how much they had already connected with the audio version.
He said: “I created the video as a visualizer because people really loved the audio and kept asking me to give them visuals. It’s a beautiful song and honestly, I love it too.”
The fast-rising artist, who continues to expand his career internationally, recently held a meeting with Rwanda’s Minister of Youth and Arts, Dr. Jean Nepo Abdallah Utumatwishima, where they discussed his music projects and a major festival he plans to organize in 2027.
The meeting took place on May 5, 2026, during which Vex Prince presented several achievements from his musical journey, including competitions and concerts he recently headlined in Côte d’Ivoire while representing Rwanda.
During their discussion, the artist revealed plans for a large music festival scheduled for August 2027, aimed at promoting Rwandan music on the international stage.
On behalf of the Ministry, Dr. Utumatwishima assured him of support similar to that offered to other Rwandan artists, while also emphasizing the importance of protecting his artistic work.
The minister advised him to properly register his songs and secure permission before using or reproducing works created by other artists.
Vex Prince has increasingly positioned himself as one of the Rwandan musicians with strong international ambitions. He works closely with KOKO Productions, a United States-based company that supports and develops artists.
In recent months, he has released several songs, including “Wahala,” produced by Cole M.G.N, a renowned American producer who has won six Grammy Awards.
In 2025, Vex Prince released his debut album titled “Levitation,” a 12-track project featuring songs such as “Wahala,”“Laler” featuring Fior 2 Bior, “Bad Energy,” “Make You Mine,” “Holy Water,” “Lalala,” “Swear,” “Normally,”“Money” featuring Dorty, “Somebody,” “Turn Up,” and “Bad Energy (Acoustic).”
The singer confirmed that he is currently working on his second album, which has already been introduced through “Falling,” released only a few days ago.
He also noted that he is preparing visuals for several upcoming songs and emphasized that he never rushes to release music, preferring instead to ensure his projects meet international standards and can compete on a global level.
