Vestine and Dorcas, renowned Gospel singers from Rwanda, have landed in Vancouver, Canada, alongside their manager Irene Murindahabi. The duo is set to kick off their highly anticipated debut tour this weekend and perform in multiple cities across the country, spreading their uplifting hymns and inspirational music.
Welcomed by journalist Ally Soudy at the Vancouver airport, Vestine and Dorcas shared their excitement about performing in Canada for the very first time. The pair expressed their readiness to connect with Gospel fans and deliver unforgettable performances during their tour.
In a conversation with Ally Soudy, the journalist touched on personal matters, asking Vestine why she advised her sister Dorcas to take her time before deciding on marriage. Vestine confidently stated that she hasn’t encountered any challenges in her own marriage and sees no issue if Dorcas wants to marry when she feels ready.
When pressed further with the question, “Have you seen anything unusual so far?” Vestine replied unequivocally, “Nothing unusual.”
Dorcas, however, explained that she doesn’t feel ready for marriage yet and prefers to let the right time come naturally. She spoke about her desire to establish her family when the moment feels right, just as her elder sister Vestine did.
“It’s not something I can force, but when the right time comes, it will happen. Look at her (referring to her sister Vestine); she’s doing fine,” said Dorcas.
The Canadian tour schedule promises an exciting line-up of performances. Their first concert will take place in Vancouver on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Subsequent shows include Regina, Saskatchewan, on Saturday, November 1, 2025; Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Saturday, November 8, 2025; Edmonton, Alberta, on Saturday, November 15, 2025; and the final show in Calgary, Alberta.
Through this tour, Vestine and Dorcas aim to entertain Rwandans living in Canada and Gospel music fans with electrifying tracks like their popular hit “Yebo” and other heartwarming songs. They expressed immense gratitude to their loyal fans for supporting them throughout their musical journey and hope to bring joy to all attendees.
Dorcas emphasized how well her elder sister is managing her marriage and said she is confident she will also build her family when the time comes.
Vestine reiterated her message, highlighting that she has not noticed anything unusual or negative about marriage as she embarks on this exciting journey with her sister
