After 17 years, Richard Nick returns to Kigali to lead a profound spiritual event, “Niwe Healing Concert,” scheduled for November 29, 2025, at BK Arena.

In an exclusive conversation with InyaRwanda, Richard revealed how, since relocating to Dallas, USA, in 2008, he has consistently received annual invitations from five different individuals to perform in Kigali.
These supporters not only extended invitations but also provided all requisite resources for his concerts, including state-of-the-art equipment, financial aid, and logistical setups. Yet, Richard chose to patiently wait for God's appointed timing to accept this mission.
He shared, “It’s always about God’s timing. Every year, I’d hear people saying, ‘You should come,’ and I listened. These were serious offers with no strings attached, and five people every year generously attempted to bring me back. Despite this, I remained steadfast in praying and waiting. I never moved forward without trusting God’s ultimate plan.”
The artist elaborated on how divine patience instilled deeper meaning in his musical journey. While there were countless prospects, he consistently opted against initiatives that were not led by God's purpose.
Speaking about the concert, Richard emphasized, “This is far from being just a concert. It’s a sacred space where attendees will encounter God. Back in 2009 or 2010, I could have easily come—but God's plan extended beyond those moments. This concert creates an opportunity to reach and inspire others through the power of divine love, hope, and transformation through my music. For every decision I make, I surrender to His timing, letting Him guide everything.”
