The much-anticipated return of Tuff Gang has sparked widespread excitement among Rwandan hip-hop fans. Since their establishment in 2008, Tuff Gang has been one of the most influential groups in Rwanda’s music history, playing a pivotal role in popularizing rap and leaving an indelible legacy in the local urban music scene.
For the upcoming event, Tuff Gang is set to perform as a unified group, a rare occurrence compared to their previous appearance at the “Icyumba cya Rap” concert on January 10, 2025. Back then, the event only featured each member as a solo performer at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (Camp Kigali).
This year, the concert takes on a fresh vibe as it moves from Camp Kigali to the newly announced venue, Zaria Court. Scheduled for December 26, 2025, the event is being organized by Ma Africa, a recognized name in delivering authentic and memorable Rwandan rap concerts.

The last performance featuring all members of Tuff Gang took place during the “MTN Iwacu Muzika Festival” at Stade Nengo in Rubavu District on August 16, 2025.

Following their August reunion, the group had not shared a stage until now, as Ma Africa confirmed their upcoming performance at “Icyumba cya Rap.” From August 17, 2025, to November 10, 2025, 85 days had passed since their last group performance. By the time they reunite on December 26, 2025, it will have been 131 days of anticipation.
