TMC, a US-based artist, shared his thoughts with InyaRwanda during the release of the video for his latest song, “Ese,” which premiered on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
The track features a soothing rhythm imbued with profound reflections about life and love. The artist underscores the importance of valuing people with whom we maintain meaningful relationships.
Discussing his current perspective on music, TMC stated, “I am no longer pursuing music as a professional artist. I recorded this song simply because I felt the desire to return to the studio, to reconnect deeply with my emotions through singing and composing. It’s something that holds personal significance to me.”
He further clarified that he has no plans to reignite his music career as it once was. Instead, this project stemmed from his longing to revisit what he loves. He explained, “I’m not on a professional music journey anymore; I just missed singing and creating songs once more.”
“Ese” questions whether life becomes easier while poignantly encouraging listeners to treasure their loved ones during the time they share together.
Sharing the song’s key message, TMC remarked, “The song is a reminder for people to appreciate their loved ones while they’re still in their lives. It’s easy to take relationships for granted or not recognize their value until it’s too late and they’re no longer around. That’s the central takeaway from 'Ese.’”
Having lived in the United States for several years, TMC continues to receive admiration for his meaningful musical contributions. Fans applaud his commitment to maintaining the authenticity that defined his style and the signature voice that brought him fame as part of the Dream Boys duo with Platini.
Despite recently releasing “Ese,” TMC reiterated that music is no longer his profession. Instead, he described it as an expression of his emotions, saying, “Music is the expression of my emotions.”
Reflecting on his artistic journey, TMC concluded, “I’m not on a professional music journey now, but I truly miss the process of creating songs.”
