The Silver Gala 2025 is set for November 11, 2025, at BK Arena, as announced by the Sherrie Silver Foundation, promising an inspiring blend of art, culture, and philanthropy. The event will bring together diverse personalities, including artists, models, dancers, politicians, key influencers, and other renowned figures from Rwanda and the global stage.
The inaugural Silver Gala, held at Kigali Convention Center, featured stellar performances by music giants like The Ben, Kevin Kade, Element, Alyn Sano, and others. It also attracted global icons such as Masai Ujiri, founder of Giants of Africa; Fred Swaniker, founder of ALU; Miss Jolly Mutesi; Miss Muheto Divine; Bwiza; Nishimwe Naomie; Intore Massamba; Ish Kevin; Runtown; Andy Bumuntu, among many others.
During its first edition, Sherrie Silver gave disadvantaged children supported by her foundation a unique opportunity to shine, showcasing their artistic talents and creativity.
Sherrie Silver shared that the idea for The Silver Gala drew inspiration from her experiences at the MET Gala in New York, where she saw the transformative impact of combining culture, art, and philanthropy.
“Collaborating with celebrities at the MET Gala made me realize that Africa deserves its own grand event celebrating beauty, culture, art, and philanthropy. This vision gave birth to The Silver Gala as a platform to empower youth-driven initiatives,” Sherrie explained.
This annual event, spearheaded by Sherrie Silver, ensures that all proceeds go to the Sherrie Silver Foundation, which focuses on youth empowerment through education, art, and talent development.
The second edition of The Silver Gala is anticipated to surpass expectations by featuring international and local stars. It will also showcase Rwanda’s evolving entertainment and philanthropic landscape.
