This brilliant Ugandan comedian, who is also a teacher in Kampala, headlined the Gen-Z Comedy Night on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Held at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village, also known as Camp Kigali, the event marked Rwanda’s 31 years of liberation and featured an array of comedic talents.
The comedy showcase was integrated with the #Kwibohora31 festivities, commemorating Rwanda’s journey to independence. The evening highlighted performances by Rwandan comedians Umushumba, Pilate, Rumi, Kadudu, Dudu, Joseph, and others.
Teacher Mpamire, known for his striking resemblance to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, entertained attendees with his mimicry of Museveni’s speech, persona, and charisma—a theatrical style that took the audience by storm.
