In November last year, Skol launched a new campaign dubbed “Twagiye Morocco”, which was officially unveiled at Ahanad Bafana HQ located at Mundi Center. Football fans were invited to gather at Ahanad Bafana HQ to watch various matches, and anyone who purchased a Skol beverage earned points.
Fans accumulated points based on the number of Skol drinks they bought, with Skol Malt earning the highest points compared to other products.
From the participants, the top 100 fans with the highest points were shortlisted, and on Sunday, January 4, 2026, a draw was conducted to select two lucky winners who would travel to watch the final of the 2025 AFCON, which is being held in Morocco. The draw saw Shyaka Valentin and Peter Adams emerge as the winners.
Shyaka Valentin said he was extremely happy, describing the prize as a dream come true. “I feel very happy. Since I was a child, I always dreamed of watching a football match live in a stadium and seeing my favorite players. The AFCON final is one of the biggest matches, so I am very excited and grateful to Skol for organizing this,” he said.
He added that he is a Manchester City fan and that when the campaign was first launched, he went to watch one of the club’s matches. He was later rewarded again by watching the match between Manchester City and Chelsea, which ended in a 1–1 draw.
Peter Adams said he first learned about the campaign when he visited Mundi Center with his family, who encouraged him to try his luck. He revealed that it was his first time drinking a Skol beverage and expressed his appreciation to the brewery.
In addition to the two winners who will attend the AFCON final scheduled for January 18, 2026, other participants also received cash vouchers to spend on food and drinks at Mundi Center, located in Gikondo, Kigali City.
