Rwandan gospel singer Senga B has opened up about the powerful message behind her new song “Ziraziritse,” a collaboration with renowned worship artist Prosper Nkomezi, describing it as a song meant to comfort and strengthen those going through difficult times.
In an interview with InyaRwanda, Senga B explained that the song carries a message of hope for anyone facing trials and challenges.
“I wanted to share a message of comfort — that even though Satan may try to intimidate us, he is bound. He has no power over us and cannot take anything from us. Everyone going through problems should be comforted.”
A Meaningful Collaboration with Prosper Nkomezi
After previously working with Emmy Vox on the song “Imisozi,” Senga B (real name Senga Byuzuye) has now joined forces with Prosper Nkomezi, one of Rwanda’s most celebrated gospel artists, known for songs such as “Ibasha Gukora,” “Urarinzwe,” and “Humura.”
She described the collaboration as a great honor and a significant milestone in her ministry. “It is a privilege that he accepted to work with me. Joining forces helps the message reach even further.”
According to her, collaborations in gospel music are not just about music but about spreading the Good News to a wider audience.
Senga B emphasized that her family plays a major role in supporting her ministry. “My family supports me fully and wholeheartedly. That means we are all preaching the message together, and God blesses us equally because they stand with me.”
A Testimony of God’s Faithfulness
Speaking about her personal journey, Senga B shared that one of the greatest blessings God has given her is the gift of children, especially after waiting eight years for her second child. “The blessing of children is what God has given me, after eight years of waiting for my second child.”
She expressed gratitude to God for turning her tears into joy, saying she is a living testimony that God wipes away tears.
Her previous song, “Ihanagura Amarira” (Wipes Away Tears), which followed “Imisozi,” is deeply connected to her personal testimony. “It is true — we have a God who wipes away tears and turns them into laughter. I am a witness.”
She added: “There was a time I was in tears, but God turned my sorrow into joy. You may cry today, but in the morning there will be rejoicing, because what is impossible with man is possible with God.”
Regarding a possible concert, Senga B said preparations are still ongoing and covered in prayer. She also revealed that fans should expect another new song next month. “We are still praying and preparing for the concert, but next month, expect another new song.”
She added that many more songs are on the way and asked her supporters to continue praying for her ministry to grow.
Senga B entered the music scene with the support of the late Adrien Misigaro through their collaboration “Ndabizi.”Although she had been singing for many years, she officially launched her professional music career in 2021 with her first music video.
“That’s when I fully embraced my calling. I grew up singing from a young age. My goal is to continue spreading God’s Kingdom through music.”
Senga B is a married mother of two, currently living and serving in ministry in Canada.
On February 16, 2024, she held a major concert in Rwanda at Église Vivante in Rebero, Gikondo, where she invited artists including Ben and Chance, Prosper Nkomezi, Emmy Vox, and True Promises Ministry. The event was well attended and left many inspired.
