Celebrating a milestone in global policing: The closing ceremony of the 24th cohort in Singapore's rigorous nine-month police training program was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner of the Singapore Police Force, DCP How Kwang Hwee.
Joining the ceremony were prominent leaders including Rwanda's Ambassador to Singapore, Innocent Muhizi, and Rwanda Police Commissioner for Training, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Barthelemy Rugwizangoga.
International achievement: Rwandan police officers Esther Mukakalisa and Ange Natete stood out as the only international participants among the cohort of 28 trainees. Their graduation with the distinguished rank of Assistant Inspector of Police (AIP) highlights Rwanda’s commitment to excellence in global police partnerships.
Building stronger Rwanda-Singapore ties: Since the signing of a historic cooperation agreement in August 2022, Rwanda and Singapore Police Forces have worked closely to enhance capabilities in combating crime and addressing transnational criminal challenges.
