Rwanda Unveils 27-Player Squad for Algeria Friendly, Featuring Fresh Talent

Rwanda's Amavubi coach Adel Amrouche announces a 27-player squad with emerging talent and veterans for the upcoming friendly against Algeria.

Rwanda's national football team head coach, Adel Amrouche, has unveiled the 27-player squad for an anticipated friendly match against Algeria next month. The selected players represent a blend of fresh talent and seasoned expertise, aimed at enhancing the team's competitive edge.

Goalkeepers: Ntwari Fiacre, Buhake Clement, Ishimwe Pierre.

Defenders: Niyomugabo Claude, Ally Enzo Hamon, Fitina Ombolenga, Uwimana Noe Iman, Mutsinzi Ange, Manzi Thierry, Niyigena Clement, Nshimiyimana Yunusu, Kavita Phanuel, and Ngwabije Brian Clovis.

Midfielders: Nkulikiyimana Darryl Nganji, Bizimana Djihad, Mugisha Bonheur, Ruboneka Jean Bosco, Muhire Kevin, Kayibanda Claude Smith, and Manishimwe Djabel.

Forwards: Nshuti Innocent, Gitego Arthur, Kagere Medie, Rafael York, Mugisha Gilbert, Kwizera Jojea, and Biramahire Abbedy.

Debut Players: The squad features newcomers making their debut on the international stage: Ally Enzo Hamon, who plays for Angouleme CFC in France's fourth division; Ngwabije Brian Clovis of Blois Foot 41, also in France's fourth division; and Kayibanda Claude Smith of Luton Town’s U21 team in England.

Returning Veteran: Renowned striker Kagere Medie, currently with Namungo FC in Tanzania, makes a much-anticipated return to the national team after a prolonged absence.

Upcoming Match and Preparations: Rwanda's Amavubi team is set to face Algeria in an exciting friendly match next month as part of their preparations for upcoming campaigns. Training camp kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, marking the beginning of intensive team development.
