On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) officially revoked the legal status of Grace Room Ministries, citing non-compliance with the national laws regulating faith-based organizations.
RGB's Official Statement
"The Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) hereby informs the public that it has revoked the legal status of Grace Room Ministries as an organization under the ministry coalition. This decision arises from the ministry's failure to adhere to the regulations outlined in the law governing the structures and operations of religious organizations."
Grace Room Ministries has predominantly engaged in prayer-related activities, which contradict its declared objectives and mission as stipulated in its constitutional framework.
Responsibilities for Registered Organizations
Every organization registered with RGB is obligated to ensure that its activities align with its filed objectives and mission. Undertaking operations that diverge from their approved scope can invite administrative sanctions, including the withdrawal of registration or legal status when necessary.
RGB urges all faith-based organizations to respect their granted legal status by strictly following the laws and regulations that govern their operations.
Ongoing Monitoring for Accountability
The Rwanda Governance Board reinforces its commitment to monitoring the adherence of religious organizations to existing laws and regulations to uphold compliance and foster accountability across the sector.

Grace Room Concerts: Acts of Worship
In April, Grace Room Ministries organized two elaborate concerts that spanned five days in total. These events aimed to express their gratitude to God.

The concerts served as a key expression of worship, bringing together the ministry's members in a public demonstration of faith and commitment.
