For the fifth time, Rwanda Global Diversity is making waves in 2025, paving the way for young women to excel. Previously launched as Rwanda Global Top Model, this competition initially aimed to promote young models but has since expanded its vision dramatically.
Now rebranded as Rwanda Global Diversity, the competition serves as an international platform focused not only on modeling but also on fostering skills in leadership, education, economics, and social welfare—all to create well-rounded and empowered women leaders.
The CEO of Embrace Africa Rwanda Ltd, Ndekwe Paulette, shared the motive behind the rebranding with InyaRwanda: “We changed the name because we wanted the competition to better reflect our ultimate goal: achieving sustainable and innovative success without relying solely on clothing and fashion.”
This year’s theme centers on advancing girls' skills to tackle pressing issues like mental health challenges, combatting drug abuse, and gaining knowledge in self-leadership and decision-making for lifelong success.
The grand prize: The winner will receive RWF 1.5 million and financial backing to proudly represent Rwanda on international stages.
Additionally, there are multiple awards for exceptional participants across various categories, including specialized training sessions in leadership, cutting-edge technology, and professional etiquette.

This year’s competition introduces integrated workshops focusing on leadership, economics, technology, and social development to ensure equal opportunities for all contestants, setting a new standard in women’s empowerment initiatives.
Ndekwe Paulette emphasized the broader vision behind the event, explaining, “We want to create a platform that allows girls to move beyond the notion that modeling is their sole opportunity. We aim to teach them they have the power to lead, innovate, and transform society in sustainable ways.”
