Both teams made several substitutions as the game progressed, but Estonia struggled to break through. Rwanda also had chances to extend their lead, including a close attempt from Hakim Sahabo that narrowly missed the target.
In the closing minutes, Estonia intensified their attacks, but Rwanda held on firmly. A crucial defensive moment came when Niyomugabo Claude cleared a dangerous ball near the goal. After four minutes of added time, the final whistle confirmed Rwanda’s 2-0 victory.
