According to the calendar, the upper primary and secondary schools’ will open on 2nd November,2020 and 23rd November for second term and expected to close the school year in April next year.
Initially, students in the fifth and sixth year of primary school and third, fifth and sixth year students will be the first to attend school on November 2, 2020.
The pandemic that saw most businesses, schools and churches and other social gathering stopped has according to Ministry of Health been easing with new infection cases below 10 people every day.
After the Ministry of Education, Students will continue where they had stopped in syllabus coverage adding that those who had paid the school fees would not pay again, a move that was welcome with relief from parents and guardians.
