Before releasing this highly anticipated album, Manzi debuted the single “Sha We,” which is included in the project. The track was produced by Muriro, one of Rwanda’s leading music producers renowned for his innovative approach.
Manzi Dbest explained that his collaboration with Muriro was driven by the producer’s distinctive style and expertise in creating contemporary hit tracks.
He said: “Given how I envisioned this music project, I felt he was the perfect match for collaboration. I wanted a masterpiece reflecting the current trends, and it worked out well as we both hoped.”
The artist shared that all the songs in his upcoming album are written exclusively in English, a strategic move aimed at amplifying his message on an international platform.
He stated: “Moreover, the album will feature diverse genres such as Country Music, Pop Music, and Drill. This album represents a significant milestone in my music journey, symbolizing my uniqueness in the industry. It sets me apart from others.”
Collaborations with Iconic Rwandan Artists
Manzi unveiled exciting collaborations with well-known Rwandan artists Kevin Kade, Kivumbi King, and Kenny Sol. These partnerships reflect his versatile connection to different music styles and high-level artistry. He added, "The songs are ready; they’re just being polished, but the projects have begun."
The young musician emphasized that his album reflects his talent, portraying how he has carved his music journey and his future aspirations.
He said: “Creating an album is no small feat. It demands hard work, focus, and precise goals. Through this album, audiences will gain a deeper understanding of the vision and purpose shaping my music career.”
Manzi disclosed that releasing an all-English album is part of his ambition to expand his reach internationally. He is optimistic that this move will create opportunities to collaborate with top-tier artists worldwide.
