The highly anticipated encounter took place on Tuesday evening at Parc des Princes, where PSG hosted Bayern Munich in a thrilling showdown.
The match ended in a dramatic 5–4 victory for PSG, with goals from Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and João Neves leading the French side to triumph.
Bayern Munich’s goals came from Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano, and Luis Díaz, but they ultimately fell short in what will be remembered as a historic and entertaining match.
During his visit, President Kagame also met with PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who presented him with a PSG jersey, symbolizing the strong ties between the club and Rwanda.
President Kagame had previously attended PSG’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match against Chelsea FC.
Since 2019, Rwanda has maintained a partnership with PSG through the “Visit Rwanda” initiative, which is featured on the club’s training kits, pre-match jerseys, and around the Parc des Princes stadium. This partnership was recently extended and is set to run until 2028.
