Pastor Marcello Tunasi exchanged vows with Aïsha Esther on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, during a heartfelt wedding ceremony in Brussels.
Sharing his joy on X (formerly Twitter), Pastor Marcello wrote, "We said Yes. In God’s plan, at God’s time, with the person chosen by God. Now it’s not just a union but also a responsibility. One heart, one direction, and one love built on the rock. Thank you all for uplifting us in prayer. This is just the beginning."
This milestone comes a year after Marcello's first wife, Blanche Tunasi, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, due to a heart condition. Her untimely death left a profound impact on their family and the ‘La Compassion’ church, where she was actively engaged in ministry. Together, Blanche and Marcello had four children.
Marcello Tunasi’s journey in ministry began in 1996. By 1998, he was leading the ‘La Compassion’ congregation in Kinshasa. In 2009, he launched CREFM (Centre d’Evangélisation, de Formation et de Mission), a Christ-centered organization embracing values such as love, holiness, power, and equality.
Aside from his duties as a pastor, Marcello excels as a writer, educator, and technology enthusiast. His vision extends to founding charitable organizations supporting orphans, missionaries, and others in need, including Marcello Tunasi Ministries (MT), Noyau Compassion International (NCI), and the Compassion School of Ministry (CSM).
Marcello is also a prolific author and has contributed extensively to editing works. His first wife, Blanche Odia Kandolo, left him with four children: Oracle, Shukrani, Shiphra, and Thabiri.
