Recent photos of Papa Sava and musician Bruce Melodie at Stade Amahoro have ignited speculation and curiosity among fans, eager to know what the two might be planning together.

Previous Collaborations Between Papa Sava and Bruce Melodie

Addressing the topic, Papa Sava revealed, “This isn't the first time Bruce Melodie and I are collaborating. Previously, he played a leading role in the movie ‘Inshuti Friends,’ alongside actors like Amag The Black and Password. This meeting isn’t new to us.”

Upcoming Projects

Discussing their recent encounter at Stade Amahoro, Papa Sava refrained from sharing full details. He said, “There are exciting projects coming up, but it’s not my place to make the official announcement. If everything goes as planned, the collaborations will begin on July 01. It’s a blend of creative efforts between film actors and a musician like Bruce Melodie.”

Additionally, Papa Sava hinted that Bruce Melodie might return to acting, highlighting past discussions on the subject. He encouraged Bruce and his management team to explore comedy inspired by his music career.

He added, “When you hear Bruce speak casually, he shows an exceptional gift for humor. His personality and spontaneous conversations naturally lend themselves to comedy. Even though we’ve discussed the idea, he’s operating on a much higher level (laughs). I’m not in a position to offer him work. If Bruce decides to return to acting, he could make it happen. However, music and film are undeniably different industries, and Bruce remains one of Rwanda’s top musical talents today.”

Bruce Melodie’s Iconic Status in Rwanda

Papa Sava emphasized that Bruce Melodie’s reputation as Rwanda’s leading musician is well-earned. He cited Bruce’s success through ventures like ‘Starlink,’ his captivating stage performances, his strong social engagement, and his contributions to job creation within the music industry.
