Held on Saturday evening, October 11, 2025, at Kigali Universe, the concert celebrated Okkama’s five-year journey in music and his personal milestone of five years in marriage. This landmark event was his first major concert since embarking on his musical career.
The highlight of the night was the unveiling of his much-anticipated EP, "Nyamabara," which represents his growth and resilience. Reflecting on his journey, Okkama stated, "These years have brought challenges and triumphs, each shaping me into the artist I am. I've realized that chasing dreams and collaborating broadly strengthens creativity."
Famous artists and close associates graced the event, including Afrique, Faycal (Code), Eric Mucyo, Mistaek, Yuhi Mic, Utah Nice, Fox Makare, and none other than Mighty Popo, a legendary figure in Rwandan music and director of Nyundo Music School.
Okkama's wife also attended, with guests commending Okkama’s originality and undeniable talent as an artist whose creativity grows with time.
Kicking off the concert, Okkama performed the crowd-favorite track “Udutwenge,” created with rapper Bull Dogg. He followed up with popular songs like “Toto,” “Umwere,” and selections from his newest EP "Nyamabara."
Before diving into his track "Umwere," Okkama engaged the audience with a heartfelt moment, asking, "Who here loves their wives?" Cheers erupted across the venue, with attendees passionately responding to the song's sentiment.
A key moment featured Afrique, Okkama’s close collaborator, sharing the stage to perform their celebrated duet. Afrique followed with his hit track “No Body,” electrifying the audience and earning another round of applause.
Expressing gratitude later in the concert, Okkama applauded his collaborators: "Kenny Sol and Mighty Popo have been pillars in my career. The successes we celebrate owe much to Mighty Popo’s guidance."
Mighty Popo captivated fans as well, joining his former students on stage with a soulful guitar performance. He lauded Okkama and others for upholding the exceptional values instilled at Nyundo Music School.
Notable moments also included rapper Fox Makare, who opened the concert with an energetic performance. He was backed by Nkubana, the son of celebrated traditional musician Nzayisenga Sophia, playing the inanga with finesse.
The night’s surprises kept mounting as rapper Mistaek delighted attendees, joining Utah Nice to deliver their lively duet “Away.”
For many, Okkama’s bold creativity stood out. Throughout the night, he sported three different costumes, beginning with an entry carrying a symbolic chicken—a recurring theme reflecting his authenticity—followed by an all-black outfit and concluded with casual wear.
