23 Years of Ministry
Nezerwa Family Choir, a committed gospel choir operating under ADEPR National Church (formerly Kimisagara 2), launched their inspiring ministry in 2002. The group began humbly with only 12 members, most of whom were students.
Faced with poverty and challenges, they thrived without financial sponsorship, with some members regarded as the "poorest of the poor." Yet, through unwavering faith and resilience, God provided comfort and assurance of brighter days—which came to pass.
Growth and Achievements
From those small beginnings, Nezerwa Family Choir has flourished remarkably. Today, they count renowned worship artist Bonnet among their members—part of the celebrated Bonte & Bonnette duo, known for popular gospel tracks like "Narababariwe" and "Izuba Ryange." Over the past 23 years, the choir has grown to over 100 singers, actively carrying out evangelical missions across Rwanda’s districts.
A Musical Journey
The choir's musical accomplishments include releasing 11 audio tracks and 3 visuals-accompanied songs. Among their recent productions is the well-loved track “Golgotha.” Looking ahead, Nezerwa Family Choir plans to unveil their newest creation, “Kunkumura,” scheduled to drop on November 29, 2025—it’s an event gospel fans can't afford to miss!
A Message from the Choir Leader
Twizeyimana Silas, the dedicated leader of Nezerwa Family Choir, shared their major focus with inyaRwanda: spreading the transformative gospel of Christ nationwide and internationally. In his own words: "We are intensifying efforts to proclaim the good news of Christ, changing lives and helping people turn towards righteousness."
He extended sincere thanks to ADEPR leadership for their unwavering support, collaborators within Rwanda and abroad, and the choir members, whose resilience contributed to the choir's success over two decades. Twizeyimana wished every choir member abundant blessings.
As encouragement, he highlighted Psalms 150:2: "Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness.
