Nattyva,
who is gaining recognition both in Rwanda and internationally, revealed that
one of the main reasons she chose to work with Kenny K-Shot was his
extraordinary talent and strong artistic presence. She described him as a
unique performer whose style perfectly matched her vision for the track.
“Kenny
K-Shot has exceptional talent and a distinctive vibe,” Nattyva told InyaRwanda.
“Even though I live in Canada, I closely follow Rwandan music. When I saw how
he delivers his performance, I knew it fit perfectly with the sound I wanted
for ‘I Do,’ and that we could create something meaningful and remarkable
together.”
The
song, which was produced by Stamina Oye and directed by Serge Girishya, was
developed through remote collaboration, requiring careful coordination of ideas
and recordings between Canada and Rwanda.
Nattyva
explained that this process required a great deal of effort, but it was worth
it given her commitment to delivering a high-quality and authentic musical
piece.
“It
took a lot of energy to create this song, especially working from a distance,”
she said. “We had to align our creative ideas and manage recordings online with
the team in Rwanda. But when you do what you love, nothing feels too
difficult.”
Nattyva
also expressed her ambition for “I Do” to reach not only Rwandan audiences but
listeners worldwide. She hopes the track will connect with people beyond
borders and become a beloved piece for music fans globally.
In
addition to promoting this new release, Nattyva announced plans to travel to
Rwanda soon to meet fans and potentially perform live. She mentioned that
upcoming concerts are being organized and that details will be shared with
supporters soon.
Looking ahead, Nattyva confirmed that she has more projects, including collaborations with fellow Rwandan artists and creative professionals across music production and visual media.
