In an exclusive interview with InyaRwanda, Muyoboke Alex revisited his 2023 statement proposing a 'Battle' between Bruce Melodie and The Ben—an idea that he strongly believes could revolutionize the Rwandan music industry.
He explained, "Let’s wait and see what happens. If you're asking me about something that has yet to occur, it feels like stepping into Bruce Melodie and The Ben's management. Personally, if they teamed up for a concert, it would be phenomenal. I know fans would embrace it. Back in 2023, I mentioned we need a ‘Battle’ that brings in revenue. If it happens, there is no problem because music thrives on such evolution. A well-organized ‘Battle’ benefits everyone."
Muyoboke emphasized that his earlier remarks were not a guarantee of a concert but a call for Rwandan music to aim for greater innovation and market expansion.
When asked if his remarks resemble predictions coming to life, he clarified that his intent was to table a significant idea for the music scene. "What I said was more of a suggestion. I mentioned the need for a 'Battle'; anything else said afterward is based on that idea," he remarked.
