Jennifer Mugisha has officially resigned from her position as Miss Photogenic in Miss Burundi 2025 competiton, after submitting her request to the organizing committee on July 30, 2025. Her decision, confirmed in a statement, was deemed compliant with the competition rules and implemented immediately.
In a press release issued on Thursday, August 21, 2025, signed by Rossalynn Kamariza, the CEO of INGO s.a, the Miss Burundi organizing committee expressed their gratitude for Jennifer’s vital contributions to this year’s competition while wishing her great success in her future artistic endeavors.
The statement read: “We thank her for her immense contribution to the 2025 pageant and wish her all the best in her upcoming projects.”
The committee reinforced their ongoing commitment to promoting the values of the Miss Burundi pageant and expressed appreciation to supporters and sponsors who remain steadfast in assisting the competition.
This announcement comes amidst challenges faced by Miss Burundi, as titleholders frequently choose to shift focus toward personal projects after earning their crowns.
