Under
the promotion, MoMoApp customers will receive a 5% cashback on their first five
purchases made via MoMoPay in a single day. To qualify, users must make
payments to five different MoMoPay merchants within the same day.
The
offer is valid until December 31, 2025, and qualifying customers will receive
the cashback automatically.
According
to MoMo Rwanda CEO Chantal Kagame, the initiative is designed to encourage more
Rwandans with smartphones to adopt digital payments. She noted that the
cashback reward provides immediate value to customers while helping them
develop digital payment habits, especially during the busy holiday period.
The
MoMoApp enables users to send and receive money, pay merchants and bills,
transfer funds between bank accounts, access remittance services, and manage
daily financial transactions securely and conveniently.
As the year comes to an end, MoMo Rwanda also expressed gratitude to its customers and partners for their continued trust and support, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2026.
