The meeting took place on Wednesday ahead of the second-leg semi-final match of the UEFA Champions League between FC Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
Minister Mukazayire and Ambassador Cesar met with young players David Okoce and Barthazar Ndayishimiye, who are currently developing their football talents within Bayern Munich’s youth academy.
The two players joined the German club through the partnership between Rwanda and FC Bayern Munich, which focuses on nurturing and developing young football talent.
Besides meeting the young players, Minister Mukazayire also attended the UEFA Champions League semi-final clash between Bayern Munich and PSG.
The match ended with Paris Saint-Germain eliminating Bayern Munich with a 6-5 aggregate victory to advance to the final, where they will face Arsenal FC.
