Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe, has described the recent concert by Doja Cat at BK Arena as the most impressive event he has attended at the venue.

Doja Cat, one of the world’s leading music stars, performed in Kigali as part of her global tour, Tour Ma Vie World Tour, where she was warmly received by a massive crowd of fans from across the region.

The concert, held on the night of Tuesday, March 17, 2026, attracted a large audience, including music lovers and notable personalities from Rwanda and beyond.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Minister Nduhungirehe expressed his excitement, noting that despite attending numerous events at BK Arena, this particular show stood out above the rest.

“I have attended many concerts at BK Arena, but this one was by far the most entertaining experience I’ve had in that venue. Doja Cat is an incredibly talented artist with extraordinary energy—almost out of this world,” he wrote.

Among the highlights of the night was her hit song “Paint the Town Red,” which has garnered over 390 million views on YouTube. Fans sang along word for word, creating an electric atmosphere inside the arena.

The event also drew several Rwandan celebrities, including Sherrie Silver, Ariel Wayz, and Babo. The concert was part of the Move Afrika Festival, organized by Global Citizen.

Following her Kigali performance, Doja Cat is set to continue her tour in South Africa, where she will perform at SunBet Arena on March 20, 2026.

The concert marked another milestone for BK Arena and reinforced Rwanda’s growing reputation as a hub for major international entertainment events, attracting global stars and audiences alike.

Born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini in Los Angeles, Doja Cat has South African and American roots. She first gained attention through social media platforms like SoundCloud, rising to fame with her viral track “Mooo!” before achieving global success with hits such as “Say So,” “Woman,” and “Paint the Town Red.”

She has since won major awards, including the Grammy Awards, cementing her status as one of the most influential and dynamic female artists in the world today.

Known for her energetic performances, bold fashion, and creative stage presence, Doja Cat continues to shape global pop culture and captivate audiences worldwide.
