Rema, one of Africa’s most prominent
young music stars, brought thousands of fans to BK Arena in Kigali for a night
filled with music, dancing and energetic performances.
Sharing his experience on X,
Minister Nduhungirehe said he and his son were delighted to attend the concert,
noting that the arena was almost completely filled as Rema delivered a
performance that lived up to his reputation as an international star.
“This evening, my son Erwan and I
attended, at BK Arena, an exceptional concert by Rema. The Arena was almost
full and the Nigerian young artist turned out to be a ‘Greek God’ with an
outstanding performance,” he wrote.
The minister also praised the
Rwandan youth for turning up in large numbers and actively participating
throughout the concert.
He said the audience not only
filled the venue but also sang along and danced to Rema’s songs, creating an
energetic atmosphere throughout the show.
“I wish to express my gratitude to
the Rwandan youth for its massive turnout, and for singing and dancing along
throughout the concert,” Nduhungirehe said.
Beyond the performance itself, the
minister also commended the Rwanda National Police for ensuring security and
helping the event run smoothly.
He thanked the police for their
efforts in maintaining a secure environment, describing the concert as a
flawless event.
“I also wish to thank the Rwanda
National Police for ensuring security for this flawless event. Let’s carry
forward this positive vibration!” he added.
Rema’s concert was one of the major
entertainment events to bring together Kigali’s young audience, with fans
turning up in large numbers to experience the Nigerian star live and enjoy some
of his biggest hits.
For Minister Nduhungirehe, attending the concert with his son was also an opportunity to experience first-hand the energy and excitement surrounding one of Africa’s biggest young music stars.
