Meet Nise: The Young Rwandan Powerhouse Behind Kevin Kade and Diez Dola

Nise Jabo Ghislain, a rising figure in the Rwandan music scene, is making waves by supporting artists like Kevin Kade and Diez Dola. Despite his young age, Nise has taken on responsibilities that many seasoned professionals would find daunting.

As the manager and business representative for Diez Dola, Nise has been instrumental in guiding the careers of several artists, including Kevin Kade. What makes his journey remarkable is how early he started, showing ambition and commitment well beyond his years.

In an interview with InyaRwanda.com, Nise explained that his entry into the music support industry began with a deep interest in music and the creative sector. Before taking on major responsibilities, he studied both the Rwandan and international music markets, identifying areas where he could contribute meaningfully to the industry.

He said, “I started young because I was passionate about music and the creative industry in general. Age was never a barrier; what mattered was ideas, determination, and knowledge. I took the time to learn.”

Nise believes his youth gives him an advantage, allowing him to dedicate time and energy that older professionals often cannot, due to other responsibilities. “Many senior professionals have multiple obligations. Being young gives me freedom to experiment, learn, and grow,” he added.

He began his career while still in high school, collaborating with artists to promote their music, studying how to monetize entertainment, and understanding the business side of the industry.

After gaining valuable experience, Nise started working closely with Kevin Kade as his Executive Producer, alongside Calvin Mbanda, while also managing Diez Dola.

Thanks to his skill and dedication, Junior Rumaga recently appointed Nise as Executive Producer for Siga Rwanda, responsible for organizing the Siga Art Festival concerts.

Nise’s journey highlights how passion, hard work, and early exposure can propel young talents into leadership roles within Rwanda’s growing music industry.
