Mani Martin took to Instagram on Friday, November 21, 2025, to share with fans his thoughts about the months of silence that followed the disaster. Explaining his absence from the public eye, he revealed that the period was one of deep introspection, focused on self-care and mental well-being.
The celebrated artist, who has spent 25 years in the music industry, said, “I needed time away from the spotlight to reconnect with the authentic parts of my life. This moment of retreat was about learning, healing within, finding peace, and forgiving both myself and others.”
Recalling the events of the flood, he shared, “One day in November, destruction came—not to end my life but to show me why I should live. It taught me that material possessions are never truly ours to keep.”
