Liliane Kabaganza Returns to the Gospel Scene with New Music and International Dreams

Gospel star Liliane Kabaganza unveils three new songs, reconnects with her fans, and supports Richard Nick Ngendahayo's historic Kigali concert.

In an exclusive interview with inyaRwanda, Gospel artist Liliane Kabaganza, now based in Kenya, revealed exciting plans marking a new chapter in her music journey. After years of staying under the radar, she is making a triumphant return by introducing three fresh songs, fulfilling her fans' long-standing pleas for more music and performances.

She shared with enthusiasm, "This is a new plan to hold concerts for my fans who have been asking me for a long time to come back and perform for them. So, I have started this, and this is the first phase with three songs. I will no longer let my fans feel neglected."

Liliane Kabaganza is also expanding her ministry's reach globally, with a focus on spreading inspirational music messages to Swahili-speaking audiences. Her latest songs include:

  • "Mbali na Hofu"
  • "Yesu ni Wimbo"
  • "Turagukumbuye"
  • "Bifite Imvano"

This journey began with her prominence in Rwanda during her time with Rehoboth Ministries. Later, she launched her solo career, quickly embraced by Gospel music lovers and solidifying her position as a favorite in the genre. Among her most celebrated tracks are:

  • "Abiringiye Uwiteka"
  • "Yakoze Imirimo"
  • "Amashimwe"
  • "Ai Gitare"
  • "Yesu Ndakwihaye" — a song that has attracted over a million views online.

During the interview with inyaRwanda, Liliane disclosed that her prayers were fulfilled when Richard Nick Ngendahayo, a Gospel artist admired by many, announced his return for a monumental performance in Rwanda after 17 years. She recalled, “Honestly, I see this event as an answered prayer. I always prayed, saying, ‘God, please bring Richard Ngendahayo back so he can bless us again.’”

She also revealed that Ngendahayo is an artist she has consistently prayed for, asking God to allow him the opportunity to reconnect with Rwandan audiences and inspire them in person once more.

Richard Nick Ngendahayo, boasting over 24 years of experience leading worship and praise, is celebrated for soul-stirring songs that resonate with countless listeners. Among his powerful tracks are:

  • "Cyubahiro"
  • "Niwe"
  • "Ntwari Batinya"
  • "Yambaye Icyubahiro"
  • And many more inspiring hymns.

Liliane fondly reflected on his impact, stating, “[Richard] has touched many lives, including mine. I love him deeply. His return comes at a perfect time, appointed by God. I view him as a worship leader who sings from the heart. He writes beautifully, sings beautifully, and inspires others with heart-filled songs.”

On November 29, 2025, the BK Arena is set to host thousands of worshippers as they unite for the highly anticipated "Richard Nick Ngendahayo Live in Kigali" concert. Promised to be a special event, this day will focus on worship, thanksgiving, and timeless moments of prayer.

Ngendahayo will perform alongside other renowned worship leaders from Rwanda and beyond, all sharing a unified mission: to glorify God and uplift hearts with hope-filled and restorative messages.

While Liliane Kabaganza will not physically attend the event at BK Arena, she assured fans of her spiritual presence and urged Rwandans not to miss this historic concert. She appealed sincerely, “I strongly encourage and plead with everyone in Rwanda to attend this concert. Even though I won’t be there in person, I pray that you will all be blessed.”
