Rwandan artist Li John has collaborated with EDM singer Kambe to release an exceptional song titled “Quantum Dreams.” Speaking to InyaRwanda, Li John revealed the song’s inspiration came from the longing for childhood memories. He expressed, “Sometimes, we reminisce about simpler times during our youth, when life was carefree and without stress.”
Highlighting the song’s message, he noted, “As children, we often dreamt of growing up, but adulthood comes with its challenges. Youth brings genuine happiness, reminding us that good times are fleeting and should be cherished.”
This track breaks new ground as it showcases Li John's move into Electronic Dance Music (EDM), a genre rarely explored in Rwanda. The song boasts international quality, thanks to the efforts of four talented producers: NP Got The Juice, Kush Beats, Hervis Betz, and Li John himself, who carried out the mixing and mastering.
Li John described his collaboration with Kambe, a well-established EDM artist and founder of KAMBELAND Studios, as an enriching experience. Kambe is known for his unique style, including a decision to keep his appearance concealed.
Li John encouraged fans of Rwandan music to embrace fresh and unconventional musical styles, such as EDM. He also urged his supporters to continue showing unwavering support, promising to deliver more groundbreaking music in the near future.
He has previously released several solo tracks, including “Ndagutinya,” and has collaborated with other prominent artists like Papa Cyangwe, Marina, Social Mula, Drama T, and his sibling Pamaa.
