Discover Jules Sentore's new album "Umudende," a tribute to Rwandan artistry and tradition. Featuring secret tracks and top collaborations, it marks his victory after a 10-year music journey.

In an exclusive interview with Inyarwanda.com, celebrated Rwandan artist Jules Sentore disclosed that his third album, "Umudende," is a deeply personal project crafted with utmost secrecy to deliver unparalleled quality and surprise for the audience.

He expressed: “I will unveil my artistic treasure to everyone. ‘Umudende’ is my most delightful album yet, and no one — not even my closest friends — has heard these songs. This secrecy was intentional because 'Umudende' is not solely my album; it belongs to all Rwandans.”

The album, titled “Umudende,” features production by Madebeats (Mucyo DavidP), whom Sentore lauds as one of the finest talents in the music industry.

Having spent years in the United Kingdom, Madebeats is preparing to return to Rwanda to take up a pivotal role at 1:55 AM as one of the replacements for Producer Element, who is leaving the label.

Madebeats is set to collaborate with Producers Loader and Kompressor, forming a powerhouse trio at 1:55 AM. This marks a strategic rebuilding phase for the label following conflicts with Element, who departed amidst disputes over financial matters and a lack of transparency.

Jules Sentore explained that his newest album, "Umudende," symbolizes victory and serves as a tribute to Rwandan heritage.

He elaborated: “Umudende is a traditional ring awarded to heroes returning from battle victorious, having conquered seven enemies. It’s a mark of honor and celebration.”

The artist also highlighted how the album represents over a decade of dedication, resilience, and reconciliation. For Sentore, “Umudende” is a labor of love and an emblem of gratitude for his supporters.

An album, unlike a single or EP, typically blends multiple tracks — eight or more — under a unified theme or story and serves as an artist's cornerstone for artistic evolution.

Jules Sentore’s upcoming album marks his third, following ‘Muraho Neza’ (2013) and ‘Indashyikirwa’ (2017). It’s been eight years since his last studio project.
