Rwandan music icon Jules Sentore has announced the release date for his third album, "Umudende," precisely timed for August 1, 2025, during Rwanda's Umuganura national holiday. Highlighting the cultural importance of this day, Sentore expressed his excitement via Instagram, sharing: “I celebrate the artistry of Rwandans. On August 1, 2025, elders say Umuganura is not just about food but about heart and connection. This is the prelude to my upcoming album, 'Umudende.'”
During an exclusive interview with InyaRwanda, Sentore delved into the essence of "Umudende," explaining its composition as a collection of original tracks deeply rooted in traditional Rwandan culture. He stressed the rigorous efforts that went into the creation, calling it an album for discerning listeners. “It is a carefully curated album designed by skilled musicians and writers, making it unique. Not everyone will fully grasp its meaning, as it contains intricate cultural elements,” Sentore stated.
Sentore reassured fans of traditional Rwandan music that 'Umudende' would quench their thirst for authentic artistry as the release draws nearer.
