Rising Ugandan star Joshua Baraka embarks on a 2025 European tour across Denmark, Germany, and London. Joined by Etania Mutoni and Selector J, he promises fans unforgettable cultural and musical experiences.

Joshua Baraka, Uganda's rapidly emerging music icon, is set to make waves with his much-anticipated 2025 European tour. Covering Denmark, Germany, and London, this journey marks a major step in his dynamic ascent within the international music scene.

The tour ignites on October 5, 2025, in Denmark, followed by a thrilling performance in Germany on October 7, 2025. Fans eagerly anticipate the centerpiece event – a grand concert in London on October 11, 2025, at 6 PM. This prime showcase promises to be a milestone moment for Baraka’s flourishing career.

Baraka will share the spotlight with his partner Etania Mutoni, known as Etania Life of the Party, and Selector J, who will collectively electrify the stage. Together, the trio aims to deliver unforgettable energy and magnetic music that will captivate fans at every stop on the tour.

Ellite media sources like Big Eye spotlight the tour’s deeper resonance for Ugandan expatriates living in Europe. Joshua Baraka’s concerts offer more than entertainment; they serve as heartfelt connections to cultural roots, Ugandan music celebrations, and emotional ties to home–unfolding in an international setting.

The Kigali stop during Baraka’s past musical ventures further solidifies his standing as a rising star. His collaboration with Bruce Melodie culminated in a high-energy show that left attendees mesmerized.

Baraka also joined forces with talents like Alyn Sano, Jules Sentore, and Ruti Joel during a celebratory event honoring 15 incredible years of DJ Pius in the music industry. These collaborations speak volumes of Baraka’s versatility and capability in connecting with top artists.

The breakthrough hit "Nana" marked a pivotal chapter in Joshua Baraka's career, propelling him into the European spotlight. Released just after his 22nd birthday, the song quickly dominated music charts across Uganda and Kenya.

Following its phenomenal reception, Baraka inked a deal with Moves Recordings, a UK Afrobeat powerhouse. This collaboration gave rise to a remix of "Nana," featuring international stars Joeboy (Nigeria), King Promise (Ghana), and Bien (Kenya), solidifying Baraka’s reputation as a global musical force.

This remarkable journey has transformed Baraka’s life profoundly. Born in Bwaise, a lively Kampala neighborhood faced with challenges yet brimming with vitality, Baraka ventured beyond borders for the first time. His travels took him across Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK–a testament to hard-earned success.

Music has been Baraka’s passion since childhood. Reflecting on his origins, he reveals, “The first song I wrote was about my mom, although I never sang it to her. My dad, being a pastor, encouraged my interest in drums at church. By age 12, I was engrossed in music classes at school—it was magnetic. I wanted to absorb everything.”

Baraka initially dreamt of becoming a doctor, but his devotion to music grew irrepressibly. By age 19, he turned his passion into a career, performing in bars and restaurants. He drew inspiration from diverse genres, blending West African Afrobeat, Jamaican dancehall, and universal R&B to create unique sounds.

In 2021, Baraka unveiled his inaugural EP, "Baby Steps," followed by "Belinda" in 2022—a captivating story about a girl entering the celebrity world through social media. Both projects echo his evolving talent and ability to tell universal stories through music.

"Nana" proved monumental for Baraka, reshaping his career trajectory. Speaking about its impact, Baraka shared, “I knew Nana had potential, but its massive reach stunned me. I realized things had shifted when kids in my neighborhood began singing it. Meeting figures I admired, like Ghetts and Bien, made me see their humanity—they’re just like me.”

Baraka also values the narrative power behind his songs. "A melody creates instant memorability, but lyrics carve direction," he says. "That’s why I immerse myself in reading—even when writing lighthearted themes like body shapes—my goal is to build vivid scenes."

The ambitious artist isn’t slowing down. With a new EP set for release in December 2025, Baraka is committed to honing his craft. "I’ll keep creating and expressing through music—everything else will fall into place. The legacy I leave next year will signal my mark in the industry,” he concludes with determination.
