The film tells a story of inseparable friends, Manzi and Karemera who due to ethnic pressure in Rwanda in 1994 their friendship falls apart. The film synopsis says, “After being imprisoned for the killing of ethnic Tutsis during the Rwandan Genocide, Manzi must face the emotional and psychological consequences of his most personal crime: the murder of his best friend's family.”

The film is an Official selection of the prestigious Global Lens Collection presented by the Global Film Initiative. Click here to Buy or Rent Imbabazi: The Pardon on Amazon.
