The song came to life with an impressive lineup of creatives, including Nigerian artist Joel Brown, iconic musician Patoranking, producer City Beat (responsible for the song’s sound), Zero Gravity, DJs, and other talented contributors.
Bruce Melodie initially recorded his parts before Joel Brown shared his desire to participate in the project after hearing the initial draft.
"Joel was given the chance to showcase his skills," Kenny shared. "After recording, he admitted not being entirely satisfied, even though we thought it was fantastic."
Back in Kigali, the production team left room for further additions. Joel Brown later returned to the studio and delivered a powerful new section that elevated the song to extraordinary heights.
"His new verse was nothing short of groundbreaking," added Kenny. "It dramatically transformed the song's direction."
The brilliance of Joel’s verse impressed Bruce Melodie and Diamond Platnumz immensely, leading them to discard their previous recordings and reinvent their contributions entirely.
"Bruce Melodie replaced his original verse with a fresh, inspired take, while Diamond exclaimed, 'This cannot be real!' and followed suit," Kenny revealed. "Together, they created something truly exceptional."
With polished audio and captivating visuals, "Pom Pom" is now ready to launch, pending confirmation of the release date. Kenny assured fans, "Once finalized, the song will be unveiled with the grandeur it deserves."
