The inspirational new song "On The Low" highlights the journey of quiet achievers—individuals striving toward their goals, navigating life’s struggles, and searching for hope without public recognition. Laden with relatable emotions and profound storytelling, the song resonates deeply with listeners.
Jay Pac shared with InyaRwanda: "I wrote this song thinking about all the people who do remarkable things but remain unnoticed. Even if no one acknowledges you, God sees your efforts."
Born in Kigali, Jay Pac now thrives in the U.S. music scene. During a concert in Atlanta, Georgia, he met Navio, one of Africa's iconic Hip-Hop pioneers. Their instant musical chemistry led straight to the production of "On The Low."
Their partnership deepened when Jay Pac attended Navio's concert in Uganda, further solidifying their creative synergy.
Navio, legally named Daniel Kigozi Lubwama, is Uganda’s Hip-Hop trailblazer. Rising to stardom in the early 2000s, he made waves with his group Klear Kut—a cornerstone of Ugandan Hip-Hop that clinched accolades like the Kora Awards, marking Navio as one of Africa’s Hip-Hop elites.
As a solo artist, Navio has unleashed gems like “Half the Legend,” “The Chosen,” “Strength in Numbers,” and “Vibes Out the East.” He’s celebrated for his bilingual artistry (English & Kiswahili), authenticity in lyrics, and ability to merge Hip-Hop with rich African sounds. Collaborations with stars like Julianna Kanyomozi, Ice Prince, Keith Sweat, and Knowless Butera underscore his global appeal.
Navio’s contributions extend beyond music—he’s dedicated to nurturing Hip-Hop culture as a vehicle for education and empowering youth. His innovative efforts cement his legacy as an African cultural icon.
"On The Low" is now captivating fans across platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, and beyond.
