Jojo Wajxy was honored as “Best MVAA Actress East and Southern Africa of the Year 2025,” while Umutoniwase Nadia was awarded “Best MVAA Breakout Actress of the Year 2025.” Model Sarah Laura, known for holding the Miss SupraGlobal Rwanda 2025 title, enhanced her career by winning “Best MVAA Female Model of the Year 2025.” These successes underscore Rwanda's expanding influence in music, film, and fashion industries.
While Rwanda celebrated remarkable achievements, Zambia dominated the awards night with nine wins. Highlights included Jay Rox receiving “Music Video of the Year,” Owas Mwape being honored with the “Lifetime Achievement Award in the Movie Industry,” JC Kalinks winning “Male Artist of the Year – Southern Africa,” and DJ PMC securing the “Radio Personality Award – Africa.”
