IShowSpeed Could Return to Rwanda

American internet sensation Darren Jason Watkins Jr., popularly known as IShowSpeed, could be set for a return to Rwanda just months after his highly publicized visit to the country.

The 21-year-old content creator, who rose to global fame through YouTube and Twitch, launched his “Speed Does Africa Tour” late last year. During the tour, he live-streamed his experiences across 20 African countries, giving millions of followers a glimpse into the continent’s culture, people, and landmarks.

Following the successful completion of the tour, IShowSpeed has now launched a charitable organization called the IShowSpeed Foundation, which aims to support children around the world through sports and youth development initiatives.

One of the foundation’s key programs is the “Live Africa Fund,” a project designed to support young footballers across Africa. The initiative will focus on several countries that IShowSpeed visited during his African tour, including Rwanda.

As part of the program’s activities, the social media star is expected to visit some of these countries again, raising the possibility of another trip to Rwanda in the near future.

During his visit to Rwanda earlier this year, IShowSpeed received a warm welcome from Rwandans and openly expressed his admiration for the country after leaving. He repeatedly praised Rwanda for its hospitality and memorable experiences.

One of the highlights of his visit was his tour of Amahoro Stadium, which he described as the best stadium he had seen in Africa.

With the launch of the IShowSpeed Foundation and its focus on youth football development across the continent, many Rwandan fans are hopeful that the internet star will soon return to the country and reconnect with the audience that warmly embraced him during his first visit.
