The choir, which ministers at ADEPR SGEEM, has organized a special week of evangelism from March 25 to March 29, 2026, culminating in the official album launch on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
As part of building excitement around the album, Goshen Choir released a new song titled “Isezerano”, one of the standout tracks from the project. The song carries a strong message encouraging believers to hold on to God’s promises, reminding them that no matter how long it may take, His promises never fail.
The choir’s leader, Rwamurinda Muhire Adolphe, explained that the song is meant to strengthen faith and reassure listeners that God is faithful to fulfill what He has promised.
He also emphasized that the message reflects how God can lift the humble and transform their lives in extraordinary ways. The album itself is inspired by the Bible passage found in Psalms 145:11-24, focusing on the goodness of God and His everlasting kingdom.
According to the choir’s leadership, the purpose of the album is to comfort people and remind them that Jesus is a good King who brings peace, restores the brokenhearted, and remains faithful in every situation. It is a message that speaks to everyday life, assuring believers that God’s plans are always good regardless of the challenges they face.
The launch event is expected to gather many believers and gospel music lovers, featuring performances from several well-known choirs including Impanda Choir, Bethphage Choir, Maendeleo Choir, Hermon Choir, Naioth Choir, and Benaiah Worship Team.
Guest choirs such as Rehoboth Choir, Nyota ya Asubuhi Choir, and Bethel Choir are also expected to attend. In addition, ministers of the Word of God including Pastor Bwate David, Jean Paul, Denis Twagiramungu, Isaac Irihondetse, and Boniface Singirankabo will also be present to share the Word of God.
Beyond music, the event is intended as a moment of deep spiritual impact, where many are expected to encounter God and grow in their faith. Goshen Choir believes that this gathering will not only celebrate the album but also lead many people to Christ and strengthen believers in their journey of faith.
After the launch, the choir plans to continue expanding its ministry by producing more songs that uplift and inspire, while also focusing on evangelism.
Founded in 1998, Goshen Choir started with only 15 members, mostly students who were passionate about prayer and worship. The choir was born during a period of spiritual revival, where moments of worship led to the formation of a singing group.
Through prayer, they received the name “Goshen,” inspired by Genesis 47, a place described in the Bible as a land of blessing for the Israelites. Over the years, the choir has grown significantly and now consists of more than 170 members, becoming one of the most impactful gospel choirs in Rwanda.
With a strong spiritual foundation, a growing ministry, and a powerful message, the release of “Umwami Mwiza” marks an important milestone for Goshen Choir and promises to be a blessing to many.
