Their
love story is also captured in the book "Letters for Eternity." It
was no ordinary wedding. It was an emotional wedding, a love story told through
letters and later published as the book "Letters for Eternity"
(October 2025).
The
book tells the true story of their journey together, where words of love
ignited the spark of an eternal bond.
Their
wedding took place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Golden Garden in
Rebero, Kigali. "I belong to you, now and forever." During the
ceremony, Andreas spoke powerful words that touched the hearts of those
present.
He
said to Judence: “My dear Judence, my Kayitesi. When I’m with you, I feel at
home. I’m happy and proud of you. Since we met, I’ve become a different person.
I feel like we’re there for each other, in the truest sense of humanity. You’ve
accepted me as I am, always supported me, and sometimes even given me extra
strength when I needed it.”
He continued: “Thank you for adding a zest to my life that I’ve been missing for so many years. We met about six years ago in Germany. You proudly showed me the Rwanda where you were born and raised.
You introduced me to your family and immediately
welcomed me warmly. You showed me your friends around the world, making me
realize that Rwanda can be anywhere. You showed me who you truly are: your big
heart and your love for people.”
He
concludes: “These are some of the reasons why I love you unconditionally. I
promise you that this will always be the case. I promise you that I will
support you in all your thoughts. I am happy that we are celebrating this day
with our families and friends from all over the world and showing everyone that
we want to build a future together. Judence, Kayi, I will always be yours.” “I
choose you today and forever.”
Judence
gave Andreas her promise with calm and graceful words. She said: “Andreas, my
love, today I stand by your side with a peaceful heart. You found me in my
goodness, not only in my smile, but also in my sadness, in my history, and in
my wounds. You never asked me to forget my origins. Instead, you chose to walk
with me just as I am.”
She
said, “Through you, I have learned that love can be both gentle and strong.
With you, I feel safe. I feel at home. I promise to choose you every day, in
joy, peace, and in difficult times. I promise to walk with you, to listen
attentively, and to love you with respect and kindness. I will support your
dreams. I will hold your hand. I will be your home.”
She
concluded, “I give you my heart. I choose you. I choose you and me. Today and
forever. This is my promise.” Love in a Book In “Letters for Eternity,” Judence
reveals that sometimes a single word of love can heal what many years have been
unable to do. It is a story told through letters and messages that marked the
beginning of their journey together. In an interview with InyaRwanda, Judence
said that this book is among the most touching works she has ever written.
She
explained, “I wrote ‘Letters for Eternity’ to show that love is a journey that
teaches us to heal, reconcile, and build a future. It is the answer to my
life’s questions and also a gift to all readers who wish to remember that
loving and being loved is the beginning of new hope.”
She
continued by explaining that many are familiar with her books on healing and
rebuilding, including “A Broken Life,” “Choosing Resilience,” and “The Search
for Oneness,” but now she has opened a new chapter of her heart.
This
is not a book about survival, but a book about love. It tells the story of true
love through letters and shows how the heart can love and believe again. I want
readers to remember that perseverance is not just about defying adversity, but
sometimes about choosing love.
The
book is available now online at Inzozi Publishers and on their social media
channels. The marriage of Judence and Andreas is not just the union of two
people, but the union of cultures, countries and hearts that have met and
decided to build a life together.
