Rwanda's Amavubi stay ranked 127th in FIFA standings after World Cup qualifiers. Morocco tops Africa while Spain leads globally in football rankings.

This Thursday, FIFA revealed its updated rankings for national teams worldwide, released after the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.

Rwanda's national football team, the Amavubi, suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Nigeria but bounced back with a 1-0 victory against Zimbabwe. Despite these results, they maintained their global ranking at 127th — the same position held before the matches.

While their rank remains unchanged, Rwanda saw a notable rise in points, increasing by 8.03 to reach a total of 1,133.50.
