In an exclusive interview with InyaRwanda, poet Murekatete shared, “Quickly take a look, share it with others; after all, this is a contribution to Rwandan poetry. 'Arubatse' is a transformative poem deeply rooted in family life, inspired by a true story about a married man who secretly hides his marriage while attempting to woo a young woman through cunning strategies.”
She elaborated on the story of this man who passionately pursued a woman, winning her love without revealing he was married. His secret unraveled when the woman confronted him, and he tried to justify his actions by claiming his marriage lacked vitality and happiness.
The revelation deeply wounded the woman, who had developed genuine feelings for him. She made it clear that family problems cannot be solved by misleading others and emphasized that she would not help rebuild what someone else had already dismantled.
On her collaboration with Dr. Nsabi, Murekatete praised him, saying, “Dr. Nsabi is an incredibly talented and creative artist. His works are both humorous and deeply educational.
