The newly released song, which runs for approximately 28 minutes, comes as part of Elysee Bigira’s efforts to spiritually prepare Gospel music lovers ahead of his upcoming concert titled Gifted For His Glory Season 2, scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Salle Viage in Brussels.
Written by members of Alaram Ministries and produced in a deep Praise and Worship style, “Mutima Wanjye” is designed to help listeners enter into an atmosphere of worship and total surrender to God. The song carries a calm yet spiritually powerful message centered on devotion, gratitude, and trusting God through every season of life.
Speaking to InyaRwanda, Elysee Bigira explained the inspiration behind the song, saying: “Mutima Wanjye is based on the message of giving your whole heart to God, worshipping and praising Him in every season of life, whether in moments of joy or difficult times. It is a song with a unique atmosphere, carrying peaceful words but filled with a strong message of faith and surrender.”
The artist added that the song is more than just music; it is part of a spiritual journey intended to prepare hearts before the upcoming concert. According to him, true worship begins in the heart before it is expressed through songs or words.
The release of “Mutima Wanjye” has generated excitement among Gospel music fans, especially because it comes just before Elysee Bigira’s major annual concert in Belgium.
This year’s edition of Gifted For His Glory Season 2 in partnership with Zaburi Yanjye is being organized by Team Production , and is expected to attract hundreds of worshippers from different parts of Europe.
The concert has gained even more attention due to the presence of Ben and Chance, one of Rwanda’s most beloved Gospel couples. A few days ago, Elysee Bigira and Ben & Chance announced that 80% of the tickets had already been sold, a clear indication of the excitement surrounding the event. Regular tickets are being sold at €30, while VIP tickets cost €50.
Elysee Bigira told InyaRwanda that Ben & Chance received an incredible welcome upon arriving in Belgium, especially after the historic success of their recent Easter Jubilee concert held at BK Arena on Easter, April 5, 2026.
That concert attracted thousands of worshippers, filled the arena, and left many attendees spiritually uplifted, with several reportedly giving their lives to Christ.
Speaking about the upcoming event in Brussels, Elysee said: “They were warmly welcomed by many people. I believe tomorrow’s concert will carry almost the same atmosphere as the one at BK Arena, even though the venues are different in size.”
The Gospel singer also opened up about his long-standing friendship with Ben & Chance, revealing that they have known each other for many years, even before the couple got married.
“Ben and Chance are people I grew up with. I knew Ben before he married Chance, and I knew Chance before she married Ben. We sang together, lived around each other, and grew together. I always told people that when they eventually came to Europe, especially Belgium, many people connected to us would come together.”
Elysee further shared that he has spent nearly a month with the duo since they arrived in Belgium, describing the experience as a great blessing. “We have been together almost every day. We share meals, move around together, and spend time together. It has been such a joy for me.”
He praised the couple for their humility, talent, and commitment to serving God wholeheartedly. “I cannot fully explain how wonderful they are. I know them for their talent, humility, and their deep love for serving God.”
Elysee especially applauded Chance for remaining committed to ministry and music despite being married and raising four children. He said her consistency is an important lesson for many people who often step away from music after starting families.
“Some people say they no longer have time after having children. Chance has four children, and she had many reasons to stop singing, but she continued serving God faithfully.”
According to Elysee Bigira, one of the biggest lessons he has learned from Ben & Chance is their strong spiritual foundation and dedication to worship ministry. “Ministering with them tomorrow will be fire. It is truly a great blessing from God.”
Elysee Bigira first became widely known through Gisubizo Ministries, where he led several popular worship songs before launching his solo ministry. He is known for songs such as Abo Yamenye Kera, Abanjye Ndabazi, Jesus Number One, Mokozi Yesu, and Erega Mwami.
Every year, the singer organizes the Gifted For His Glory concert in Belgium. Last year’s edition featured Adrien Misigaro, while this year’s edition brings together Elysee Bigira and Ben and Chance for what many fans expect to be one of the biggest Gospel worship gatherings in Europe this year.
