Bull Dogg is one of seven celebrated artists slated to perform at the MTN Iwacu Muzika Festival, which will kick off in Musanze District on Saturday, July 5, 2025. This sixth edition of the MTN Iwacu Muzika Festival marks an exciting milestone as it will be Bull Dogg's first time gracing the festival’s lineup. For the third consecutive year, Rwanda’s leading telecommunications firm, MTN Rwanda, is sponsoring the widely acclaimed event.
Bull Dogg’s Journey to the Festival
Speculation had emerged that Bull Dogg could have replaced artist Kevin Kade, but during a press conference held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, EAP clarified this point. Their management highlighted prior willingness to collaborate with the rapper and revealed that discussions were initiated well ahead of the official announcement.
Joseph Mushyoma, known as Boubou, Director of EAP, elaborated: “We had engaged in discussions with Bull Dogg earlier, though certain aspects had yet to be finalized. His involvement in MTN Iwacu Muzika Festival was never in question—it was just a matter of aligning details. Following our June 16, 2025 press conference, these conversations gained momentum, allowing us to finalize contract specifics within a week.”
Mushyoma reassured the public that Bull Dogg’s addition to the festival roster was the culmination of meticulous planning, stating: “We identified common ground regarding the terms he envisioned, paving the way for seamless integration into the lineup.”
