The event is being organized by 1K Entertainment, in partnership with Aura and Innox Entertainment, with the aim of bringing together Rwandans and their friends living in the U.S. for a summer celebration.
In addition to performances by the three artists, attendees will also be entertained by DJs including DJ Innox, DJ Afrellie, DJ Naomi, and Jimmy Tabz.
Alyn Sano has been in the United States for the past few weeks, where she has taken part in various activities surrounding the FIFA World Cup.
DJ Pius is also in the U.S. promoting his music, while Kid from Kigali recently returned to America after performing at several events in Rwanda.
Speaking about the concert, DJ Pius said he is excited to reunite on stage with the two artists. "It's a concert where I'll be performing alongside Kid from Kigali and Alyn Sano. It will take place here in Portland, Maine, in the United States," he said.
He added that the event is intended to bring entertainment closer to the Rwandan community living in the U.S. "We're organizing this concert for Rwandans and everyone living here so we can celebrate the summer together."
DJ Pius is one of Rwanda's most celebrated artists, known for hit songs including "Homba Homboka," "Bonane"featuring Alyn Sano and Bushali, "Agatako" featuring Jose Chameleone, among many others.
Alyn Sano is known for songs such as "Ntibikunda," "Tamu Sana," "Fake Gee," and "Boo and Bae."
Meanwhile, Kid from Kigali, who recently joined Metro Afro, has gained recognition through songs including "Yububu" featuring Mike Kayihura and "Hakuna Matata" featuring Juno Kizigenza.
